From the south, U.S. 3 North – Upon crossing into New Hampshire, U.S. 3 merges with toll road F. E. Everett Turnpike. Continue on Everett Turnpike and take Exit 12. There is no toll collection at Exit 12. Take a right at the traffic light at the end of the exit ramp then take a right at the next traffic light. You are now on Daniel Webster Highway southbound. Wheeler Chapel is at number 590 on the right, just beyond Tortilla Flat restaurant.
From Manchester Airport (MHT) – Exit the airport and just after the underpass keep left to enter a roundabout. Follow signs to F. E. Everett Turnpike South and Merrimack. After a second roundabout and traffic light take the Merrimack exit to a traffic light at the end of the exit ramp. Turn left on to U.S. 3 South, Daniel Webster Hwy and proceed to number 590.
From the north, I-293 South – (Option 1) This is the most direct route and some folks have found it to be the least complicated because there is no southbound exit from F. E. Everett Turnpike at Exit 12, the exit nearest Wheeler Chapel. Traveling from the north on I-293 South merge with Everett Turnpike and take the last exit before the Bedford Tolls following signs to Merrimack, U.S. 3 South, and Daniel Webster Highway. Proceed to the traffic light at the end of a long exit ramp. Turn right at the traffic light and head south on Daniel Webster Highway to number 590. Wheeler Chapel will be on the right just past Tortilla Flat restaurant.
From the north, I-293 South – (Option 2) While this is not the most direct route, some folks have found it to be the least complicated because there is no southbound exit from F. E. Everett Turnpike at Exit 12, the exit nearest Wheeler Chapel. It is also the best route if you missed the Merrimack exit mentioned in Option 1 and entered the Bedford Tolls by mistake. Traveling from the north on I-293 South merge with Everett Turnpike and take Exit 11. You will be approaching Wheeler Chapel from the south on U.S. 3, Daniel Webster Highway instead of from the north. At Exit 11 keep right and at the exit ramp traffic light turn right. Continue to the next traffic light. You should now be headed north with Everett Turnpike on your right. Take a right at this traffic light, proceed east under the turnpike and through the next traffic light just after the underpass to another traffic light and stay left. With TD BankNorth on the right, turn left on to Daniel Webster Highway, U.S. 3 northbound. Wheeler Chapel will be on the left just beyond Shaw’s Market at number 590.
Parking
Wheeler Chapel has a small parking lot with 3 reserved spaces, one for a church leader and two for handicap parking. Ample additional parking can be found a short walk south via sidewalk at Shaw’s Market. Street parking is also available along Chapel Lane and Wheeler Street but please be mindful of areas marked with NO PARKING signs and cones which protect local resident access. Parking is NOT permitted along Daniel Webster Highway due to heavy traffic.
