Wheeler Memorial Chapel is available to rent for a variety of functions. A signed Building Use Agreement is required and is available here to view or download.

General Rate Structure -  For most events the rate is $50/hr with a 3 hour minimum. Occasionally events will require, at the request of the renter, that a member(s) of the Board of Trustees be involved in a substantial amount of the preparations. In such instances that time will be included in the billing of the rental.

IMPORTANT! - Any reservation made verbally by the Trust is only a placeholder for that date. Your reservation is NOT confirmed until the Trust has received both a completed Building Use Agreement and the agreed upon payment.  As the building has many users, last minute schedule changes will be handled on a "best effort" basis and cannot be guaranteed to be accommodated.

Availability Notes -

It is helpful to note that the chapel does have several regular users of the facility which make a few time periods unavailable on a routine basis:

Faith Episcopal Church -  

uses the chapel for most of their worship related activities. This means the chapel is typically in use every Sunday until about 1:00PM. There are other non-Sunday holy days and events throughout the year that would make some other time periods unavailable as well. These are typically known well in advance so contact the Trust for availability.

Support Groups -  

The chapel is home to three support groups at present which meet on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday evenings in the 6:00 - 9:00 timeframe. The Trust is sensitive to the importance of these groups and the continuity of their schedules and as such we do not make requests of them to adjust their meeting times for other events.
